Advanced Beginner - Log Cabin Retreat
This would be a great weekend for a group of friends to learn quilting together. Get into the Christmas Spirit!
A beginner log cabin class over a single weekend! We will start Friday around 5 p.m. and quilt into the evening. Then all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Most students will have completed an entire quilt top by the end of the weekend.
This class is suitable for all first time quilters and beyond. We will discuss how to iron your fabric, how to use a rotary cutter and a ruler, squaring up blocks, putting on borders. Perfect for the next step for all those who have taken our "Absolute Beginner - Learn to Quilt" or if you’ve made a quilt or two in the past … you’d will learn lots of new hints and techniques that will make quilting even more enjoyable (if that’s possible!!!) .
