This will be an instructor lead "quilt as you go" start to finish a quilt in 6 hrs.
Quilt Kits
The kits have arrived and they are adorable!! Kits will be distributed Saturday morning and will include everything you'll need to make the quilt; Cotton fabric for the quilt top, flannel for the quilt back, batting, binding, and label except the thread. Finished quilt size is approximately 40" x 40". The kit comes in a cloth bag that is for you to keep. There are instructions in the kit for making the quilt using the quilt as you go method. Terri will be the instructor for this class. Lunch will be provided courtesy of our host Mary Ann Groening of Trendtex Fabrics. We ask that you bring you bring your own beverages.
What to bring (we recommend labelling your items)
Sewing machine with cord and foot petal Pen or pencil to make notes
Extension cord/power bar (if you have one)
Walking foot
Neutral thread
Small scissors
Seam ripper (just in case)
Pins (we will be pin basting the quilts, not spray basting)
Binding clips (optional) Rotary cutter Cushion for your chair (optional)
Cutting mat - Not required - Will be provided
6 x 24 Ruler - Not required - Will be provided
Ironing stations will be provided.
