Absolute Beginners - Quilt Finishing - Domestic Machine

Just finished your Learn To Quilt Class, or done lots of piecing and wondering how to finish you quilt top?
Bring your quilt top, which should approximately 60" x 60" or not too much larger. Join us for the day and learn how to layer the top into a wonderful heirloom. This class is for the true beginner or the novice quilter.

We be using the walking foot and discuss the alternate ways to "sandwich" your quilt and discuss binding methods as well. Use your machine or ours.

Not sure what materials you need? Want to add a border? Want to learn your options! Join us for the optional 2hr drop-in class to help choose the right amount of backing, best thread, and batting type and size. You will also be able to attach a border in class if you prefer with our machines!

Materials Included: Bring Backing, Batting, Thread, and 505 spray or pins. Use our machine or bring your own!
Requirements: Walking Foot is a great help! Backing should be the size of your quilt + plus 4 inches bigger all around. 1/2 yard of material for binding. Batting the size of your backing usually "throw" size if following class pattern and thread! Need help? Come early and we will help you decide or ask the teacher before class!
