Groz-Beckert 134 MR FFG (light ball point) size #18. 1 package consists of 10 needles.
The Groz-Beckert MR needle style is specifically made for multi-directional use, which is exactly what longarm machines need.
These needles are titanium-coated and will last much longer than standard nickel plated or chrome-plated needles thanks to its excellent abrasion-resistance.
Multi-directional design means more accurate stitching while moving the machine in any direction. The MR needle style has maximum flexibility and bending to help reduce needle breaks and a deep scarf to mitigate skipped stitches.
FFG is a considered a "light ball" and not a regular ball point. FFG is suitable for woven cotton fabrics. Groz-Beckert makes only FFG points in the titanium-coated SAN 11 needles. R point needles are considered 'rounded sharps' and is also suitable for woven fabrics. Currently, the R point is not available with titanium-coating in the preferred SAN 11 style.
